Elder Caussé began his first apostolic ministry trip to Asia by reorganizing the Singapore Stake Presidency on April 19, 2026, with recently called Area Seventy from India, Elder Peter Bushi. Following 10-minute interviews with 19 brethren they had met just the day before, Elder Caussé promised those attending the Stake Conference that it would be a unique experience and testified of the guidance of the Spirit and the leadership of the Savior in the Church of Jesus Christ.
He met youths at a breakfast before the Stake Conference and invited them to prepare as early as possible to serve a mission. His presence gave Brielle Gutierrez, a Singapore Stake youth, the conviction of his calling as an Apostle. She felt “he saw my desire to serve a mission” and “my potential to be a missionary.”

During the Conference, Elder Caussé exhorted members to “work and prepare ourselves to meet the Savior, for at that time we will feel loved more than we have ever felt before” with the indescribability of being loved by God. This counsel helped Stake member Marlene Lau find direction she sought for her next steps to “focus on what is the most important” and “chuck aside” what does not help her prepare to meet God.
At missionary meetings in Indonesia and Viet Nam, Elder Caussé expressed how he always loved missionaries but this intensified after he was called as an Apostle and had to begin assigning them on their missions. He shared how he was moved to tears the first time he did so, as he pondered on the life-changing impact of the decision led by the Spirit, and urged the missionaries to use the mission as a chance to transform their own lives. He also noted the trust and respect the Church enjoyed in the two countries, and the infinite potential for missionary work there.

And in member devotionals, he emphasized the importance of bearing simple witness of the Savior by the Spirit to Saints in Jakarta and invited them to “pray everyday for this temple to be built”. He witnessed to Hanoi Saints of the God-given potential amongst them individually, collectively and in the Church there, and invited them to see others’ potential and invite them to “come and see” the Church and feel the Holy Spirit.
Jakarta Indonesia Stake Patriarch Manuel Meyer, who translated for Elder Caussé, recounted looking out beside him to the sea of “happy and blessed faces” and was moved to tears several times during Elder Caussé’s sermon as he shared personally and from the heart.

For Hanoi Viet Nam District young single adult and returned missionary Thị Ngọc Quỳnh Vũ, Elder Caussé’s call to “look at your potential and trust in your divine potential” was most memorable and reminded her to see herself that way. “God sees me as well,” she affirmed. “He knows me by name, He loves me so very much and He trusts me as well.”

Elder and Sister Caussé greet members working far from home at a branch in Hong Kong, China on April 26, 2026.2026 by Intellectual Reserve, Inc. All rights reserved.Elder Caussé finished his ministry trip in Hong Kong and spent his final Sunday amidst members working far from home. He shared their sacrament and found “we had a chance to teach one another” as he testified to them of receiving the vision of “your eternal identity, your divine nature and your divine potential” in the temple and how “no one of you is beyond the reach of the Lord's infinite blessings.”
In concluding his Asia ministry, Elder Caussé reflected, “I would like to simply say that the message I have for this area, like for the whole world, is the message of the Apostle of the Lord -- that I know that Jesus lives, that His Church has been restored upon the earth. It can adapt to any culture, it can adapt to any climate, to any people, because it is destined to enable the exaltation of all the sons and daughters of a loving God.”
